Halloween is Skeleton Bob’s time. He runs the most beloved haunted house in London – it’s the perfect blend of fun and frightening. Every cobweb is artfully placed, and every creaky floorboard is meticulously tuned.He’s not scary, exactly – more... invested. With polished bones, a booming voice, and an encyclopedic knowledge of ghost stories, Bob believes in atmosphere over actual terror. (“Jump scares? Dreadfully uncouth.”)Visitors are gently spooked, thoroughly impressed, and often leave with a complimentary cobweb. Bob insists they’re authentic – don’t ask where he gets them!

Audrey Hootsoftly is a writer. Or at least, she will be, once she finishes her first book. Ideas strike at all hours (mostly the small ones), so she’s often found burning the midnight oil. The result? A caffeine habit that could power a jet engine. By day, she lectures in literature – when she’s not napping. Hence her plush sleep mask, worn at all times for emergency shut-eye. It does make teaching tricky, but Audrey insists it’s all very avant-garde. She’d love to share her ideas with you – you might just have to give her a nudge, first!

Bo Bigfoot looks after the forest! With long mocha fur in cloudy tufts and pink towelling feet with bobble toes, this sasquatch is shy no more. Bo has gentle suedette fangs and a chunky face peeping out of that fuzz. A picnic companion to snooze with as well.

Lachlan Sad Rat spends most of his weekends standing by the canal, gazing thoughtfully at the water and lowering his magnet on a string. Most call it magnet fishing; he calls it “treasure hunting”, though his finds are mostly bottle caps, shopping trolleys, and the occasional scooter.  Lachlan enjoys the tranquility by the water, though he admits that the noise of pulling drenched, old bicycles out of the river can somewhat puncture the ambiance.  His dream? To find gold, sail off into the sunset... and try magnet fishing his way round the world! 

When twilight comes, look out for Miff Mothman! This mythical friend has a silky black tummy, embroidered slate wings with scalloped edges and a fuzzy pebble head with cord antennae. A quirky gift with so many textures, Miff's bright-eyed, cord-booted and fit to flit!

Spookipaws Cat is terrifyingly lucky. Black fur, midnight tail, sharp little stare? She’s the good omen of all good omens!For Spookipaws, vending machines double-drop. Every flight she has a spare seat next to her. Her umbrella? Never lost. Her toast? Always lands butter-side up.At Halloween, her luck goes into overdrive. Full-size chocolate bars. Never a single raisin. Even Timmy Turtle agreed to wear a costume once. “A moment of madness,” he muttered. She just winked.Stick close. You might catch a little of the magic.

Hocus Crow has a passion for the past – particularly the ghostly bits. Graveyards at dusk, medieval curses, haunted tapestries, he loves it all.He insists he once saw a ghost toad wearing Victorian ruffles – possibly related to Ricky Rain Frog (“Same glare,” he says gravely). Whether or not the sightings are real is beside the point. Hocus lives for the lore.Bartholomew Bear swears Hocus’ Halloween party stories are the best! And he loves his midday mystery tours – they’re less scary than his midnight mystery tours (rumor has it, Hocus created the midday tour just for Bartholomew).

Amuseables Skull Planter is all about good vibes, green shoots, and taking things slow. Stick on a lo-fi playlist and he’ll chill in the corner all night.With a head full of cacti and zero time for drama, he brings zen to every haunted house. His motto? Don’t overthink it. Water lightly. And if you need advice, he’s the best in the game – he even helped Bartholomew Bear Spider decide on his Halloween costume.Need a bit of calm? He’s got you covered – top to pot. 

Broox Bat has a problem... he doesn’t like the dark. He’s not scared of it, he’d just rather avoid it (at all costs!).That means no cinema trips, no nighttime flights, and absolutely no tours of haunted houses. Plus, he can only sleep with his nightlight right beside him (yes, it’s glued to the ceiling).If you’re looking for a bat to get brunch with, Broox will be there. Just don’t invite him to dinner!

Mysti Ghost is the mastermind behind some of the most talked-about Jellycat soirées – her events need to be seen to be believed! Think luminous garlands, floating balloon formations, and the kind of entrance that makes guests gasp. Literally.Admittedly, her music taste leans paranormal (expect a lot of spooky synths), but once the lights dim, and the cobweb disco ball spins… Well, you’ll be glad you RSVP’d.

It started as a fancy dress outfit for a birthday party (Peanut was disappointed to find it had no dress code, so he invented one). Then he reused it for Halloween. And International Cat Day… Now it’s simply Peanut's preferred “traveling outfit”.Peanut is so practiced at feline impressions he’s fooled several of his closest friends in this get-up – including Jellycat Jack! (He's never fooled Amuseables Bean, though. Bean would recognize that trademark tuft anywhere.)

Amuseables Popcorn is Jellycat’s most in-demand film critic.From midnight premieres to indie shorts, he’s always front row with notebook in hand and questions at the ready. Popcorn’s portfolio is impressive. He’s interviewed starlets Sofia and Vivian Reindeer (twice) and awarded The Great Gherkin Heist five kernels out of five; his weekly column is a must-read, and he’s even said to be working on a new book: Snack, Camera, Action.If it’s film-related, he’s your Jelly!

Amuseables Toilet Roll is a curling champion. Not the gym kind (he tried that once; disastrous), but the icy, stone-sliding kind – and he’s perfected his glide.With plush sheets neatly coiled and boots braced for balance, he’s happiest sweeping his way across the rink, calling the shots with surprising authority. He says it’s the taking part that matters most, but only because you’ve got to be in it to win it!Off the ice, Toilet Roll is endlessly dependable: neat, steady, and always on hand when you need him most.

Technically, Bartholomew Bear is “getting ready for bed”. But in reality, with a robe this plush, he’s been in pre-sleep mode since 3pm. He takes lounging seriously: hot honey infusions (he swears by them), half-finished bedtime stories, and a commitment to the soft and gentle life. When he’s not powering down though, he’s a performer at heart. As well as this luxurious loungewear, Bartholomew loves to dress up. From pumpkins to personalized jumpers, there’s a look for every occasion. Which one takes your fancy?

She may look like a wizard, but Heccaty Hootnightly is actually a mocktail mixologist. With a flair for dramatic glassware, unique flavors and accompanying spells (none of them have worked yet), Heccaty takes fruity concoctions to new heights.Drinks are brewed in cauldrons and served with a twist of theatrical flourish. Her “Potion of Peppermint Clarity” is a certified Halloween classic – especially when paired with a savory snack.Looking for something with zing, glitter, and a fog effect? Heccaty’s your owl!

If you’re throwing a Halloween party, there’s only one DJ you want. Nay, one DJ you need! And that’s Ooky Jack O Lantern. All glow, all go, and absolutely no cobweb classics.With his infectious grin and a playlist that jumps from monster funk to ghostly disco, he’s a pumpkin of many talents.He works closely with Amuseables Cassette Tape – she handles the old-school mixes while he adds the spooky flair. And if you hear an unexpected beat drop in the middle of trick-or-treating? That’s probably Ooky, queuing up his pumpkin remix.

Mummy Bob is a legendary sweet maker – and his specialty? Halloween. From ghoulishly good sherbet to bon bons, every treat is wrapped up in showstopping packaging.Glow-in-the-dark lettering: check. Boxes bejeweled with googly eyes: check. Cobweb trim: check.  His most famous creation – Mallow Mischief – was a runaway success: a fusion of gooey goodness and unexpected flavors (pickled egg and honey, anyone?).Looking for treat (or trick) ideas? With a neon clipboard, an eye for talent, and a contacts list longer than his tail, Dexter Dragon is the gig promoter every act wants.  Specialising in “intimate gigs” (including a show that took place in Bartholomew Bear’s garden), he’s the one who got Amuseables Broccoli on stage – and managed to keep Glamorama Pig from hogging the mic.
